“Regional Study Hubs are a vital resource in supporting regional students: delivering access to campus-like facilities in regional and remote areas, educational support, technology and, most importantly, a network of fellow students.”
Thanks to the support from the Australian Government Department of Education and Training, we were the sole regional study hub in Tasmania to receive a grant from the Regional Study Hubs Program.
This funding will offer crucial assistance to all adult learners participating in education on the West Coast over a three-year timeframe. Our community values learning highly, and we are thrilled to collaborate with educational institutions and industry partners to provide numerous course options that will help learners advance their education and enjoy campus-like facilities close to home.
Since the inception of the West Coast study Hub, Tasmania is now lucky enough to have 2 more hubs receive funding and are operational. We now have Study Centre Circular Head and Study King Island up and going. St Helens have just started their process to set up their own Hub on the East Coast of Tasmania.
